Vision
Password.House - security does not need to be a lonely journey
Parents, relatives and friends are always calling us to help with tech and account login issues. They are intelligent, wise and capable of so much; but our dearest online services are not making their lives easy. In the desire to create security, we have invented a theater of gates that few can pass through without scrapes.
Over half of all respondents said managing passwords was a frustrating experience... (AARP Survey)
We believe, users deserve the help and support to enable agency and control for managing their digital presence
with support as needed. When secondary support folks fix things, it sometimes is done such that the agency or information to manage
and administer it is lost and the key point of contact is now not in the household but the visiting technical support or the relative.
When someone else fixes your systems; continuity and structure is lost.
Password House will address the credential management, storage and most of all, design from day one for multiple entities to help the user. Allowing support members to contribute to a users password manager so that we help them stay self-sufficient
Built for you - Create and store passwords as you need them but also allow your supporters to help on your needs
Secure - All data is encrypted such that only you, the user can modify and see the contents - everything is managed by the users
Sharing - Trusted sharing
Over 50% of people we surveyed in Millenial / Gen Z have helped their family with tech issues - we all feel helpless when remote and especially, when the easy tools do not exist to help them be more security aware
Password.House is built from the ground up to support inbound password management by others while giving control to the user
It takes a family
We encourage simplifying the life of our users by designing for multi-party support
Impact

Then, typing it on the site is hard and I struggle" - Over 65 - India "Everytime I am back in Russia, I have to run around the house to various pieces of paper to find all the passwords that my grandma has to help her out" - Tech employee
Usage of password managers in 50+ population is abysmally low (Under 20%).
65% of Americans do not trust password managers.
37% of internet users say they have to request a password change once a month on at least one website due to forgetfulness.
This is a genuine gap and need for security especially as we have had 500+ breaches in 2020
Making it easy to manage passwords will drastically simplify the lives of both the parties and enable them to have lower friction, more flexibility and less stress!
